Dr. Shehar Yar Awan earned his DDS degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). With a strong foundation in science and healthcare, he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in biomimetic restorative dentistry, crown and bridge treatment, and dental implants. “What an amazing experience at American Urgent Dental. I fell and chipped my tooth and was in excruciating pain. I called the office and was able to come by immediately and saw the dentist within 5 minutes of arriving. The dentist was so calm and helpful — he explained what I needed and the procedure so I could understand. I left feeling so much better and am grateful for this place being open on the weekends. All the staff was amazing; if you need dental care, definitely don’t hesitate to go here.”
