Dr. Shehar Awan, DDS
Dr. Shehar Yar Awan earned his DDS degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). With a strong foundation in science and healthcare, he enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in biomimetic restorative dentistry, crown and bridge treatment, and dental implants. He has a special focus on oral surgery and emergency dental care, helping patients navigate everything from routine treatment to urgent dental needs.
Dr. Awan is committed to providing evidence-based care that emphasizes long-term oral health, function, and aesthetics. Through ongoing continuing education, he stays current with the latest advancements in dentistry to ensure his patients receive modern, predictable treatment tailored to their individual needs.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Awan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. He values faith, family, and strong friendships. When he’s not caring for patients, he enjoys working on projects around the house and traveling.
